International Paper CEO Says Don’t Worry about Diapers: ‘There’s Plenty’ of Them

The shelves of some stores may not have products like diapers, but they are weaving through the supply chain, International Paper CEO Mark Sutton told CNBC in late March. “There’s plenty of” diapers, Sutton said on “Squawk Box.” “It’s just got to get the velocity through the system, through the distribution centers and directly to the consumers.” The dramatic increase in demand for the products due to the coronavirus will not last forever, Sutton said.
