Metsä Tissue's Düren mill in Germany Hit by Fire

A fire broke out in the late evening of  January 10 at PM 5 at Metsä Tissue’s Düren mill in Germany. The fire was caused by a short cut at a cable tray at the bottom floor. 

The mill’s personnel extinguished the fire before the fire department arrived at the mill. The fire caused no injuries.

Production on PM 5 has been shut down until further notice.
