Qingyun Shenggang Fires up 20,000-mtpy Tissue Machine in Shandong, China

China’s Qingyun Shenggang has started trial production on a 20,000-mtpy tissue machine at a new mill in Dezhou city, Shandong province. 

Provided by domestic supplier Shanghai Qingliang Industry, the unit has a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,400 m/min.

An identical PM is being installed at the same site and is expected to come online this quarter. Both tissue machines will be fed wholly with market wood pulp.
