Tangshan Meitehao Fires up Second Tissue Machine in Hebei, China

China’s Tangshan Meitehao Hygiene Products has fired up a new tissue machine at its sole mill in Qian’an city, Hebei province.

Designed by China’s HMEI Machinery & Engineering, the machine has a capacity of 25,000 mtpy, with a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min.

It is the second tissue machine to have come online at the site. The first, which is identical, was started up in late July.

Tangshan Meitehao is an affiliate of Mancheng Jinguang Paper, a tissue paper producer with a total capacity of around 130,000 mtpy in Baoding city, Hebei province.
