MPM Oji Home Products Starts Operating New 18,000-metric tpy mill

MPM Oji Home Products, a joint company between Oji Nepia and Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited, has proceeded with the construction of a household products facility in the area of Hachinohe mill of Mitsubishi Paper and completed construction as planned. The facility has started operation. Approximately 18,000 metric tpy of facial tissue and toilet tissue will be produced utilizing the pulp and infrastructure of the Hachinohe mill. MPM and Mitsubishi Paper will sell these products mainly in the Tohoku region.
