Morcon Tissue Installs New S-70 Winder

Morcon Tissue has invested in a new S-70 winder from United Converting. This state-of-the-art equipment will allow Morcon to better service its customers, introduce new products and significantly increase their capacity of wound products. Morcon and UC are very excited to build upon their strategic partnership that began in 2016.

Morcon’s VP of Sales Laura Morris is also excited to share the news with customers revealing that, "Our new S70 winder will add one million cases of new capacity to our towel and tissue offering. Our goal is to be the #1 converting company for the Away-From-Home tissue market, in the eyes of our customers. The new S-70 winder will help make our goal a reality."

Morcon Tissue is building a greenfield site, which will house the new United Converting S-70 winder. This third site will be fully operational in Q1 of 2019.

With two converting facilities in NY and SC, and a third opening in Tulsa, OK, in 2019, Morcon is now able to effectively service their customers on a national basis by offering the broadest portfolio of napkin, towel, tissue and dispensing systems.
