Hebei Chensong Fires up New Tissue Machine in Baoding, China

China’s Hebei Chensong Paper, formerly known as Mancheng Hengda Paper started trial production on a new 15,000-metric tpy tissue PM on Monday at its mill in Baoding city, Hebei province.

Provided by domestic supplier Shaanxi Bingzhi Machinery, the unit has a trim width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 800 m/min. The mill used to run several small, old tissue PMs with a combined capacity of around 10,000 metric tpy. They were all wiped out to make room for more advanced production lines.

According to an environmental impact assessment report published by the Baoding city government, the company plans to eventually build a total of five tissue machines there. No details were available on their capacity.
