Metsa Tissue’s Mänttä Mill Hit by Fire

A fire broke out at Metsä Tissue’s Mänttä paper mill in Finland. As a consequence, one of the mill’s paper machines was stopped but was restarted shortly thereafter, the company said.

Metsä Tissue confirmed no employees were injured because of the fire.

The firm’s Mänttä paper mill has a capacity of 123,000 tonnes/yr and produces specialty and tissue paper.
