China’s Sichuan Yuanzhou Fires up New 20,000-Tonne/yr TM in Shifang

Sichuan Yuanzhou Industrial has started trial runs on a new tissue machine at its sole mill in Shifang city, Sichuan province, in southwest China.

The unit, provided by domestic supplier Guizhou Hengruichen Technology, has a width of 3.98 m and a working speed of 1,100 m/min. It is able to churn out up to 20,000 tonnes/yr of tissue furnished with wood and bamboo pulp.

Besides the newly-started line, the company also runs several smaller TMs with a combined capacity of around 60,000 tonnes/yr at the site. All of them are fed with a mix of wood and bamboo fiber as well.

They include three 13,000 tonne/yr units, which were all sourced from the same supplier and were commissioned last year.
