Guangxi Tianlifeng Starts New Tissue Machine in Nanning, China

Guangxi Tianlifeng has started trial runs on a new tissue machine at its sole mill in Nanning city, Guangxi autonomous region, in southwestern China. The first sheet of paper rolled off the TM in late April.

The unit, provided by Shanghai Qingliang Industry, has a width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min. It is able to churn out up to 20,000 tonnes of tissue per year.

The company fired up another 20,000 tonne/yr tissue machine at the same site in early January. The startups have boosted its total tissue capacity to around 75,000 tonnes/yr.
