Sofidel to Install New Valmet NTT Tissue Machine at Delitissue Plant

The Sofidel Group, Porcari, Italy, has ordered a Valmet Advantage New Tissue Technology (NTT) 200 tissue machine for installation at Delitissue plant in Ciechanów, Poland.

The Advantage NTT 200 machine can produce both conventional; and structured grades of tissue, and will allow Sofidel to improve the quality of its product range and further increase the plant’s energy efficiency. It is 5.5 meters wide, operates at a speed of 2,000 meters/min, and has a production capacity of 70,000 metric tpy. Startup is planned for the fourth quarter of 2017.
   
Valmet’s supply includes the machines for the mixtures preparation as well as the entire automation system.

According to Valmet, NTT technology allows the production of tissue with minor energy and fiber consumption in an extremely flexible way, and is consistent with Sofidel’s sustainability strategy for environmental footprint reduction.
