Rewinder Updgades Boost Performance at Indevco Tissue Mills in North Africa

 

A.Celli Paper, Italy, reports that its upgrade projects at International Indevco Group’s North African tissue mills have been completed. The rewinder at Unipak Tissue Mill in Lebanon was brought to new performance levels this past October, and the two rewinders at Interstate Paper Industries in Egypt were upgraded in November and have now attained new production levels.

A team from A.Celli Paper’s Customer Service Department, in collaboration with the mill’s specialized personnel, replaced the two cutting units and updated the drive, the PLC system, and mechanical transmission of the two rewinders, completing the intervention in just six days of machine downtime per plant.
