Ecosentials, a Minneapolis, Minn., USA-based maker of ecologically-designed disposable products, has acquired Ultra Green's consumer goods line and relaunched with new naming and branding that allows Ecosentials to grow its presence through brick-and-mortar grocery stores and online to combat deforestation and toxic chemicals commonly found in conventional and recycled paper.

Ecosentials' tabletop products are now branded as Compo—named for its compostability—and all tissue products are Bim Bam Boo. Compo's 100% compostable tabletop products are made entirely from natural, highly-renewable materials such as sugarcane and corn. Bim Bam Boo utilizes rapidly-renewable bamboo for tissue.

"Consumers are making it quite clear that a social purpose is among the top factors that influence a purchase decision. The acquisition of Ultra Green's consumer goods line and rebranding into Compo and Bim Bam Boo allows us to build upon a legacy of quality-products that customers are asking for." said Zoe Levin, co-founder of Ecosentials. "These products have proven to be a success with natural and mass-market shoppers, with a strong appeal to millennial and multi-cultural audiences," said Zoe Levin.

Ecosentials is a father-daughter company on a journey to empower change through the way we think about, and purchase, disposables by making it easy for families to switch their weekly paper purchases to tree-free and toxin-free options. Compo and Bim Bam Boo are sustainable product lines that generate a positive environmental impact and provide shoppers with great design, quality, and affordability, as the products ultimately stop the spread of toxic chemicals.

Ecosentials has seen tremendous growth, gaining new placement in 10 major chains and numerous independent retailers, all under the guidance and leadership of Ecosentials' Co-Founder Phillip Levin. Co-founder of Ultra Green Packaging, Levin has established and developed numerous companies focused on the marketing of consumer products to mass retailers, supermarkets, and warehouse clubs.

Compo and Bim Bam Boo brands are distributed nationally to major grocery chains and can be found in hundreds of natural and independent retailers and co-ops through KeHE, UNFI, Unified Grocers, Nature's Best and Frontier.
