G-P’s Crossett, Muskogee Mills Donate Bath Tissue, Paper Towels to Tornado Victims

Employees from Georgia-Pacific’s consumer products operations in Crossett, Ark., and Muskogee, Okla., USA, loaded six tractor-trailers with bath tissue and paper towels destined for relief agencies working onsite in communities in Arkansas and Mississippi recently damaged by devastating tornadoes. Loads of Angel Soft® bath tissue and Sparkle® towels made in Crossett, and Preference® commercial towels made in Muskogee were moved into storm areas and are helping people there meet some of their basic needs.

 

  

The donated products were delivered through Convoy of Hope, a Springfield, Mo.-based international humanitarian relief agency. Convoy of Hope and Feed the Children, a relief agency based in Oklahoma City, regularly receive contributions of G-P’s products so they can respond quickly in disaster situations and get items to people who need them most.
