RiverPRO Brings Tissue Machine Online at Thailand Mill

RiverPRO Pulp & Paper Co., Samut Prakan, Thailand, has successfully started up a 25,000 metric tpy tissue machine at its mill in Saraburi province, some 80 km north of Bangkok, Thailand. The Valmet machine, acquired from a closed tissue mill in Sweden, is 3.1 meters wide and operates at a design speed of 1,200 m/min. 

 

RiverPRO is a major tissue producer in Thailand, operating four machines at two mills, including one 2.7 meter Andritz unit with a total capacity of 54,500 metric tpy. The company produces bath tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, and napkins. Its three major brands are Pinn, Tendre, and RiverPRO.
