SSIG Members Needed
All Standard-Specific Interest Groups (SSIG) require a minimum of 10 members in order to ballot and vote on a draft of a method. The following test methods do not have the required minimum number of member to initiate a ballot:

T 408 cm-07 "Rosin in paper and paperboard" requires two more members to ballot.

T 421 om-12 " Qualitative (including optical microscopic) analysis of mineral filler and mineral coating of paper" requires two more members for ballot.

T 438 cm-06 "Zinc and cadmium in paper" requires two more SSIG members for ballot.

If no progress is made on balancing these SSIGs, then the respective methods may be considered for withdrawal at the next QSMC meeting. If you have an interest in becoming a member of either of these SSIGs please contact standards@tappi.org.
