Withdrawal of T 840 om-10

T 840 om-10 "Testing adhesives used in glued lap joints of corrugated fiberboard containers" has been withdrawn. The reason for withdrawal is that a survey of the technical experts on the SSIG showed that most believed it would be better as a Useful Method. This method does not seem robust enough to be an Official Test Method, and there are many different evaluations wrapped into this test method. The way the method is written makes it challenging to understand how to proceed with repeatable testing in some cases, and the methods do not seem parallel.

A new Useful Method replacing T 840 is in the works.
