Withdrawals of T 552, T 698, and T 576

The Quality and Standards Management Committee (QSMC), at thier meeting on April 30, 2014, withdrew the following standards due to lack of completion of their regular review in the time frame required by the TAPPI Standards Guidelines:

T 552 "Determination of wetting tension of polyolefin films and coated surfaces via the Mayer rod technique"

T 698 "Determination of wetting tension of polyethylene and polypropylene films and coatings (modified visking analytical technique)"

T 576 "Tensile properties of towel and tissue products (using constant rate of elongation apparatus)"

The Working Group chairs for these reviews have been notified. Work Items may be opened for reinstatement upon submission of a new draft for review.
