In response to the shortage of personal protective equipment front-line responders are facing while fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, HSMG™ donated 10,000 masks to the State of New York. These masks were delivered on Wednesday, May 20, and will be used by the State’s Emergency Management Team.
 
Mondi, global leader in packaging and paper, is set to build new production lines in its plant in Gronau, Germany, to produce melt blown nonwoven fabric and surgical face masks. This is part of Mondi's efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and respond to increased demand by health authorities, businesses and consumers for face masks.
 
To strengthen the initiatives to fight COVID-19 in São Paulo, Klabin, Brazil’s largest paper and packaging producer and exporter, has allocated more than R$1 million for donations in the state.
