This introductory class features presentation and guided exercises operating the UW-Stevens Point Fourdrinier pilot paper machine. 

Your instructor, Dr. Gerry Ring, is professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He began his career as a research scientist, has written 15 publications, holds four patents, is a recipient of numerous awards and recognition, and is a TAPPI Fellow. Read more.

Dr. Ring designed this two-day workshop for anyone who needs to learn the basics of pulp and paper operations, processes and equipment.
