Nippon Paper Industries Announces Price Increase for Its Dissolving Pulp Products

Nippon Paper Industries announced that it will increase the price of all dissolving pulp products by 10% or more, beginning with shipments as of May 1.

In a press release Nippon Paper Industries said the price hike is due to the global increase of raw fuel prices, logistics and labor costs. "Though we have worked thoroughly to reduce costs, we have decided to revise the prices because we cannot overcome all of these constraints. We will revise the prices as a raw fuel surcharge."
