In developing its Drying Optimization for Energy Savings (TT DOES), Toscotec investigated strategies for critical tissue machine areas that contribute to higher efficiency and output. Depending on priorities, most tissue producers can optionally increase output for the same or less specific energy input, or maintain the same level of output but sensibly cut energy use. TT DOES achieves these aims.

The new TT DOES modular approach combines the latest technology developments of Toscotec pressing systems (TT SYD new ribbed design) with low carbon footprint MILLTECH yankee hoods, creating a synergy of different equipment dedicated to improving performance of the tissue machines, to reduce energy consumption and cut operating costs.
