2025 Women’s Summit Empowers Women Across the Industry

Despite progress in many industrial sectors, women remain significantly underrepresented in the forest products industry. Studies continue to show that women make up less than 25% of the overall workforce in this traditionally male-dominated field—and even fewer hold technical, leadership, or executive positions (Sciencedirect.com). As the industry looks to the future, there is a growing recognition that supporting diversity and inclusivity isn’t just a matter of equity—it’s essential for innovation, sustainability, and long-term success.

To help drive that change, TAPPI is once again hosting its Women’s Summit on May 4, 2025 in Minneapolis, Minn. in conjunction with TAPPICon 2025. With this year’s powerful theme, #AccelerateAction, the Summit is designed to not only inspire change—but drive it. Women from across the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging, and related industries will come together to connect, collaborate, and champion progress.
