As the global hub for sharing knowledge and networking for the pulp, paper, packaging, and tissue industries, TAPPICon 2024, April 28 – May 1 in Cleveland, Ohio, promises an enriching experience for professionals and students alike. Among many highlights, the Poster Session stands out for showcasing cutting-edge research, fostering collaboration, and sparking innovation.

The Poster Session features some of the industry's brightest minds as they present their latest discoveries, advancements, and insights. From groundbreaking technologies to sustainable solutions, each poster tells a compelling story of progress and possibility.

Sponsored by Siemens Energy, this highly anticipated session is scheduled to “hit the stage” on Tuesday, April 30 from 10:15 am to 11:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the exhibit hall of the Cleveland Convention Center. During these timeslots, authors will be stationed by their posters, ready to engage in discussions, answer questions, and delve deeper into their findings. This interactive format allows for meaningful exchanges and fosters collaboration among peers.

In addition to the in-person presentations at the poster boards, eight more presentations will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, featuring selected posters in digital format within the New Technology Showcase area on the exhibit floor. This innovative approach provides a platform for presenters to showcase their work using multimedia elements.

Poster Competition with Prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250
One of the most exciting aspects of the Siemen’s Energy-sponsored Poster Session is the recognition and prizes for student presenters. Eligible students have the opportunity to compete for prizes based on multiple criteria, including scientific merit, subject matter relevance, design and layout of the poster, and the ability to engage with the audience. The stakes are high, with the first prize winner receiving $1,000, the second prize winner earning $500, and the third prize recipient receiving $250. These incentives not only recognize outstanding contributions but also motivate students to excel in their research endeavors.
