Building a Targeted Ergonomic and Wellness Strategy:

We will discuss the fundamentals of a governing company performance standard for ergonomics as well as key elements for a site specific multiyear continuous improvement strategy.  We will touch on the why, the what and the how to set a standard, educate and align resources to support an enterprise-wide effort to tackle ergonomic and soft tissue injuries/illnesses.  With a long-term strategy approach, you can tackle this large frequency and severity bucket one day/bite at a time!

This 3-part series is available to PPSA members for free. Non-members may purchase access to the series for $45 per webinar and $90 for all 3. CEU Credit is available as well with attendees able to earn up to .3 CEUs for the entire series.

Lignocellulose Fractionation for Zero-Waste Biorefinery – Webinar (Free)

The urgent need to accelerate the transition toward a world beyond fossils and circular bioeconomy requires the development of biorefineries with different chemical trees from fossil-based ones. Lignin-first biorefinery demonstrated by Lignum, a start-up in South Korea, will be introduced along with their activities in developing biobased fillers and valorization of sugar streams from the biorefinery. Application of SSEIF® in thermoplastics in automotives, rubbers & elastomers, electrical cable compounds, 3D printing filaments, and biodegradable agricultural mulching films are a few of examples where SSEIF® will make differences.  In this presentation, the characteristics of SSEIF® and its applications will be discussed from the perspectives of various applications of biobased fillers.
