Deadline to Submit Abstracts for Fiber-Polymer Composites Event Approaching

The USDA Forest Products Laboratory and Forest Products Society is pleased to announce that abstracts are being accepted to present at the 2017 Advancements in Fiber-Polymer Composites Symposium, May 16-18, 2017, in Madison, Wis., USA. The submission deadline is November 15.
This Symposium attracts hundreds of researchers, engineers, suppliers, producers, and educators to collaborate on the latest advances and future opportunities for fiber-polymer composites.
Abstracts that address the following general interest topics are encouraged:
- Advanced reinforcements in fiber-polymer composites
- Biopolymer matrices
- Processing and drying of nanocellulose
- Novel additives and processing techniques
- Modification of natural fiber and nanocellulose for enhanced performance
- Recycling
- Future markets/applications.
