A portable I.D. mounting pipe beveler that features a simple to operate electric motor producing high torque for beveling heavy wall pipe has been introduced by Esco Tool of Holliston, MA.

The Commander Electric MILLHOG® I.D. Clamping pipe beveling machine features a 20 Amp, 2400 Watt motor that produces high torque for beveling heavy wall pipe and pulling a thick chip without cutting fluids. Simple to operate, the variable speed 13-45 RPM motor runs on 110/220 VAC and has high and low torque settings for making precision welding end preps.

Eliminating the need for a control box, the Commander Electric MILLHOG® I.D. Clamping pipe beveling machine is ideal for making precision preps on Super Duplex, P-91, and other high alloy pipe joints. Suitable for all schedules of pipe from 3.75” I.D. to 14” O.D. this beveler can face, counter-bore, J-prep and perform compound bevels to help assure high integrity welds.

The Commander Electric MILLHOG® I.D. Clamping pipe beveling machine is priced from $18,995 and is available for rent at $833 per week.
