Albéa Group Awarded EcoVadis Gold

For the sixth time in a row, the Albéa Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development has been rewarded with the Gold medal by EcoVadis. With 80/100, this new result places Albéa among the top 3% of all companies rated by EcoVadis.
It is the biggest improvement of the group which managed to increase its sustainability performance in all four rated themes: environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
François Tassart, CEO of Albéa states: “The significant improvement of our overall score and particularly in labour and human rights as well as in sustainable procurement proves that our day-to-day efforts and the actions implemented over the past year are paying off”. He adds: “The next step for us is to reach our target of 100% of our 35 plants audited by the end of the year while working towards a consistent CSR level across all of them - our 13 Platinum- and 12 Gold awarded plants are the benchmark.”
