Self-Centering Spool Collar Quickly Locates, Centers & Mounts Rolls

A new spool holder that features a lever-operated clamp and a conical face for mounting rolls concentric to the shaft in bagging, label making, packaging, and related machinery has been introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, MA.

The Python™ Spool Centering Collar features a 45 degree conical face that inserts into a roll to locate, center, and mount it concentric to the shaft and secure it with an integrated lever-operated clamp. Designed for shafts from 3/8” to 1-1/4” and 8 mm to 30 mm to accommodate a wide range of rolls, it is ideal for bagging, label making, packaging, and related machinery.

Made from aluminum and anodized in OEM colors if needed, the Python Spool Centering Collar is offered with a smooth or knurled surface and has a split hub to permit the Flip-Lok™ lever-operated clamp to mount securely. They are available with hex and square bores that can accommodate round bore rolls and spools.
