Ukraine’s Cardboard and Paper Company Decreases Cardboard Product Production, Increases Toilet Paper Output

Ukraine’s Cardboard and Paper Company LLC made products worth some UAH 194 million (US$5 million) in the first two months of this year. This represented a decrease of 3.7 percent compared with the January-February 2023 period.

Data sources by local news site Open4Business indicates that the manufacturer decreased its production of cardboard products by some 13.8 percent in the analysed period, rolling out about 4,110 tonnes in the first two months of 2024. At the same time, the Ukrainian business made some 1,580 tonnes of paper base for sanitary products, increasing its production of such products by 65 percent compared with the same period a year earlier.

Between January and February 2024, Cardboard and Paper Company LLC manufactured 900,000 units of toilet paper rolls. This means that the producer expanded its output of such products by some 13.2 percent compared with the first two months of 2023.
