Throughout March, Sylvamo is celebrating women around the world who are an essential part of the company.

“To achieve our vision to be the employer of choice, we must create a diverse and inclusive environment in which all individuals can thrive,” said Gabi Tonon, Sylvamo’s global inclusion and diversity manager. “We recognize that gender discrepancies are very real in the workplace and it’s critical to empower women and provide resources that support their values.”

Women empowerment resources:

Sylvamo provides competitive pay to women aligned with local market practices, ensuring gender pay equities in each region.

To provide a forum for connection and community in the workplace, Sylvamo formed the women in operations and women in leadership employee inclusion networks in 2022. Sylvamo also joined the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in support of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
