TAPPI's Women's Summit 2024: Empowering Leadership and Inclusion

On Saturday, April 27, Cleveland, Ohio will play host to TAPPI’s 2024 Women's Summit, a groundbreaking event offering in-depth discussions on creating more inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces. With the theme, Inspiring Inclusion: Empowering Women's Leadership and Equity in Industry, the Summit offers a unique opportunity to engage with thought leaders, industry professionals, and like-minded individuals committed to advancing workplace inclusivity.
Open to both men and women, the Summit is more than just a conference – it's a call to action. The interactive program, held 1pm to 6pm ET, is carefully crafted to shine a light on the challenges, opportunities, and successes that accompany the pursuit of balance and inclusivity in the workplace. The event is presented by TAPPI’s Women in Industry (WIN) Division.
Serving as keynote speaker is Cyd Rechtin, Founder and CEO of The Creator’s Attaché (TCA). Rechtin will kick off the Summit with insights that promise to resonate with every attendee.
The agenda also boasts a series of interactive breakout sessions, each delving into critical aspects of fostering inclusivity. Balancing the Scales: Navigating Gender Equity in Industry provides a platform for candid discussions that explore the challenges of achieving gender equity in various sectors. Redefining Leadership Through a Gender Lens invites participants to consider how women’s distinctive experiences and viewpoints can redefine leadership paradigms. Inclusion in Action: Learning from Industry Leaders promises firsthand insights from successful leaders who have championed inclusivity in their respective fields.
Following the program, attendees are invited to unwind and connect at a networking reception from 6 pm to 7 pm, fostering an environment for meaningful connections and collaborative opportunities.
The Summit is not an isolated event; it builds on the momentum initiated during TAPPI's Women in Industry (WIN) Divison’s International Women's Day Panel on Friday, March 8 from 9:30am – 10:30am. The theme of this free virtual event is #InspireInclusion. This seamless continuation of the dialogue underscores TAPPI's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive industry landscape.
