TAPPI Announces Attendee-Focused Changes for PEERS and IBBC Conferences

One of TAPPI’s overarching goals has always been to ensure its events, conferences and educational offerings provide the best overall quality to its members, attendees and exhibitors by continuously working to institute changes designed to achieve just that.

After careful consideration and discussion, TAPPI is pleased to announce the co-location of both the PEERS and IBBC Conferences with TAPPICon for the foreseeable future. This co-location will open many new doors of opportunity through an expanded technical program, increased and diverse networking events, and greater access to our Young Professionals and Women in Industry Divisions, not to mention more collaboration between Division committees. In essence, we see this as a win-win for our members, attendees, exhibitors and sponsors.

Plans are already underway to incorporate elements of PEERS/IBBC into the TAPPICon 2024 program with the addition of content for the Hot Topics breakfast and a dedicated session on Mill Maintenance on Wednesday morning. Several committee meetings normally held at PEERS/IBBC will also be held at TAPPICon to help ensure greater cross-pollination of ideas. By giving our prospective attendees the ability to access expanded content, and increase their networking opportunities, TAPPI feels confident these additions will enhance their overall experience.

“At TAPPI, we are excited about these changes,” said TAPPI President & CEO Larry Montague. “While change can be disruptive, it also brings innovation and transformation. We look forward to all that the future can deliver for our members as we strive for greater value and enhanced programming.”

For more information on the co-location, please contact Division Managers Natasha Bush-Postell or Tyler Mast.
