As the world strives for gender equality and inclusivity, TAPPI’s Women In Industry (WIN) Division is taking a step forward by hosting the 2024 Women's Summit on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown in Cleveland, OH. The event is being held just prior to the opening of TAPPICon 2024 on April 28.

The Summit advances the discussion initially begun during the WIN Division’s online observance of International Women's Day on March 8, and will run from 1 pm to 6 pm, followed by a reception from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Goals for the Women's Summit include raising awareness about discrimination and driving the conversation toward achieving gender parity. The interactive program will cover crucial topics such as self-advocacy, mentorship, professional development, and more. Open to everyone, including both TAPPI members and non-members, the Summit provides a platform for women and men to address issues relevant to today's workforce.

Hosted by the WIN Division, the event is held in conjunction with TAPPICon, a premier conference for professionals in the paper, packaging and tissue industries. The collaboration with TAPPICon allows attendees to register for either the Women's Summit alone or the full TAPPICon Conference, offering a comprehensive experience with additional networking opportunities.

As part of TAPPICon 2024, the WIN Division has organized other events, including a Women in Industry Division Lunch on Tuesday, April 30, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, as well as a PIMA Management track session from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm (PIM8).

With an emphasis on empowerment, education, and networking, the TAPPI Women's Summit 2024 is a pivotal moment for individuals in the industry to come together, learn, and inspire change. Register today to be part of this transformative event and contribute to the journey towards a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
