Join us! Hands-On Pulp and Paper Basics Workshop is Available

Co-sponsored by TAPPI and NC State University, the Hands-On Pulp and Paper Basics Workshop will be held Monday, October 9 – Friday, October 13 at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. This unique hands-on introductory level workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to master the basic concepts in pulp and paper manufacturing. You will be provided with a broad overview of Pulping, Bleaching, Chemical Recovery, Recycling, Papermaking and Converting.

The course will consist of presentations each morning followed by hands-on laboratory and pilot-plant exercises every afternoon. Participants will receive a set of course notes, lab manuals and have access to the lecture files via the Internet.

Earn Continuing Education
This course has been reviewed and approved by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Participants who attend at least 80% of the educational sessions and complete the final program evaluation will be awarded 3.7 CEUs by TAPPI.
