After a career in the corrugated industry spanning nearly four decades, Dan D’Angleo, Vice President of Sales at the Geo. M. Martin Company will retire effective May 26, 2023. Jason R. Smith, National Sales Manager is promoted to VP of Sales assuming D’Angleo’s position and responsibilities.

“I’ve worked alongside Dan for many years”, says George R. Martin, C.E.O. of the Geo. M. Martin Company. “He has been an asset to our company and a driving force behind our growth over the past 37 years. We wish him well in his retirement and future endeavors.”

“We are very pleased to promote Jason Smith to VP of Sales” continues Martin. “He has been a dedicated associate for over 30 years. In that time, he has experienced all aspects of our business from engineering to service and sales. Jason has earned the trust of our customers and our sales team, and we look forward to his continued leadership in this new position.”

D’Angelo joined Geo. M. Martin in 1986 as Northeast Regional Sales Manager. In 2006 Dan was promoted to VP of Sales, a position he held for 17 years.

“It’s been a good journey”, says D’Angelo. “I like to think I’ve grown up with Geo. Martin. I’ve seen the business grow and the technology evolve to meet the demands of a changing, growing industry. I’ve developed many trusted, and lifelong, relationships with customers and associates in the corrugated industry around the world. I will miss that, but it’s time for the next act.”

And the next act is exactly what lays ahead for Dan as he plans to focus his time on continuing his role as a successful producer of hit Broadway and London Theater shows.
