Registration is now open to the 2023 Effective Methods to Maximize Diecutting Productivity Workshop held in conjunction with CorrExpo 2023. This comprehensive one-day workshop will happen on Sunday, August 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

Lead by leading industry expert Rick Putch, the workshop is designed to enable attendees to better comprehend why equipment differences, general maintenance needs and subtle structural design differences influence quality and profitability for corrugated converters.

Attendees will gain a much better understanding of machine limitations on all sorts of flatbed and rotary diecutters as well as gain a deeper awareness of how establishing a tool readiness program increases uptime and reduces waste. This workshop will increase your knowledge to:

  • Distinguish differences in various flatbed diecutters
  • Create accurate specifications for rotary diecutters and FFG
  • Recognize pitfalls in structural designs that limit diecutting efficiency
  • Indicate how key maintenance practices on the diecutters increase uptime and reduce waste
  • Identify influential factors of dimensional variation in rotary diecutting.
  • Implement a tool readiness program to drastically reduces idle time in your converting processes

Is this the right course for me? The topics and learning benefits of the course are designed with the following industry roles in mind:

  • Corrugated finishing machine operators
  • Production superintendents
  • Structural designers
  • Plant, sales and general managers
