Six Industry Experts Set to Take the Stage at TAPPI Nano 2023 in Vancouver, B.C.

The 2023 TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (TAPPI Nano) is happening 12 – 16 June at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Together Nelson and Tunnicliffe will present “From Trees to Tires:  Development and Scale-Up of the Nanocellulose Dispersion CompositeTM, and offer a comprehensive perspective based on their highly accomplished backgrounds with product development, manufacturing and research including Tunnicliffe’s proficiency as a subject matter expert for carbon black reinforcement of rubber.

Julien Bras, Associate Professor, Grenoble INP is speaking on Thursday, 15 June at 12:00 – 13:30. Bras’ presentation, “Nanocellulose: Is It Really a Good Solution for Sustainable Packaging?”, will discuss some of the main challenges in the sustainable packaging industry and will share how nanocellulose can be used to create promising solutions. Additionally, Bras will cover the nanocellulose production and sustainable process, the value-added functionalization of such materials and the application of nanocellulose on 2D and 3D packaging.
