Mill and other professionals from around the world will gather for TAPPICon 2023, April 22 – 26, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia to learn the latest strategies, technologies, and processes available in the industry.

Considered one of the world’s largest technical conferences for the paper, packaging and tissue industry, TAPPICon offers attendees five days of expert-led technical presentations, roundtable and panel discussions, training and networking events. Attendees can also find solutions for many of their challenges on the exhibit floor where leading suppliers showcase cutting-edge products and services.

With the theme, “Three Rings of Success: Vision • Technology • Action,” TAPPICon’s comprehensive program focuses on importance of each area and how their interaction helps drive success. Developed by technical experts and business leaders in the industry, the program includes peer-reviewed presentations offered within nine, subject-specific tracks: Papermaking Technology and Operations, Papermaking Additives, Coating and Graphic Arts, Process Control, Papermaking Fundamentals, PIMA Management, Recycled Paperboard, Reliability and Maintenance, and Tissue.

New Events
Attendees can expect several new and exciting events for 2023. One of the proposed sessions is a unique look at “The Paper Journey” utilizing the popular Pecha Kucha format. Originally debuting in Japan and featuring 20 images and 20 seconds per image to tell respective stories, this particular Pecha Kucha will take attendees on a journey across each segment of the paper industry – from forestry, pulping and paper grades, to pressing, drying, and finishing, and ending with technology/industry 4.0 and recycling and the circular economy. CEUs will be available. Also being planned is a Maintenance Hints/Practical Application Education session where mill personnel will have the chance to receive hands-on training in specialized practices and equipment.

Attendees can also participate in many of the popular educational and networking events returning to TAPPICon including the Women’s Summit, the New Technology Showcase, Mentor Match Speed Networking, PIMA Executive Panel, and Hot Topics Breakfast where industry professionals have the opportunity to discuss critical areas affecting mills today.

Atlanta – a perfect location
Over 100 mills representing 28,800 mill employees are within an easy drive of Atlanta. Because of its convenient access, mills have the unique opportunity to send teams for only one day, or the entire event. TAPPICon also offers mills special discounts to send multiple people or teams.
