If You’re Involved in Paper Machine Operations – Take Note of These Three Helpful Opportunities

TAPPI Academy is gearing up to deliver several events that would be of interest to just about anyone new to paper machine operations or those who need to brush up on the important basics.

  1. "Ask the Expert" – Friday, March 18
    Course Chair, Tom Rodencal, will be available on Friday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the TAPPI Connect interactive forum for a live discussion thread to answer your questions about TAPPI’s upcoming Paper Machine Operations Course.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about what will be presented during the training.  Send your questions to kdixon@tappi.org or just log into TAPPI Connect to learn.

  2. TAPPI Paper Machine Operations Course– April 19-21, 2022
    TAPPI will present its three-day in-person training event in Neenah, Wisconsin that’s designed to help you better understand paper machine operations from wood fibers all the way to the reel.  The course is designed to help attendees identify operation features, and discover methods to improve paper machine efficiency and product quality.   3. Exclusive Tour for Course Attendees – Friday, April 22, 2022
    Participants in the Paper Machine Operations Course are invited to take part in an exclusive group tour of the massive paper machine at the nearby Green Bay Packaging Mill.  This new paper machine produces one mile of paper every two minutes.  This group tour will be held the next day following the course on Friday, April 22. As you register for the course, be sure to extend your travel arrangements to accommodate this additional event.
