Salmenoja’s presentation will look at what is limiting the length of the recovery boiler operation periods between shutdowns and whether these limiting factors are related to safety, perceptions, mechanical constraints, process issues, fouling and plugging, corrosion, local legislation, or recommendations from recovery boiler committees. He will also discuss how to mitigate the effects of these factors.
