Sappi Europe Announces Further Price Hikes for Containerboard, Paperboard, Sublimation and Inkjet Grades

Sappi Europe has announced further price increases for Paperboard, Containerboard, Sublimation & Inkjet grades that will take effect with deliveries from September 1.
Prices for Paperboard and Containerboard will increase by 8-12%.
Prices for Transjet, Basejet and Inkjet grades will also increase by 8-12%.
Sappi Europe said, "The unprecedented and ongoing rise of raw material costs, particularly pulp, chemicals and energy in combination with extremely high freight rates makes price adjustments unavoidable."
Sappi's sales team will be in contact with customers to discuss the detail and support the implementation.
