One of Russia’s Largest Productions of Impregnated Paper to be Built in St. Petersburg Region

One of Russia’s largest productions of impregnated paper will be established this year in the city of Slantsy of St. Petersburg region, according to recent statements, made by representatives of regional authorities and local media reports.

In addition to paper, as part of the plans of the investor is also building of a facility for the production of phenolic film.

The project will be implemented by the local "Innovative Technologies" company. The new plant will be located on an area of 8.700 square meters. The capacity of the enterprise is designed for the production of 7.200 metric tons of impregnated paper and 20.7 million square meters. of phenolic film per year.

The volume of investments at the initial stage is estimated at 215 million rubles (US$3 million). The project is planned to be fully completed by 2026.
