Lee & Man Plans to Build New Plant in Cambodia

Chinese paper and packaging manufacturer Lee & Man plans to build a new pulp and paper mill and associated port in Cambodia, Euwid reports.

Lee & Man's subsidiary Able Might will acquire 49 per cent of Cambodian company Shunying. The purchase price is reported at $490,000, according to Euwid.

Shunying has signed an agreement to acquire 126 ha of land in Dechu, Kampot province, for about $98.75m. The pulp and paper mill and the port are to be built there.

Established in 1994, Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Ltd, has grown from a small company into a world leading paper and pulp manufacturer.
