Siberian Paper Mill Novosibirsk Cardboard and Paper Mill Plans to Build Second Production Facility This Year

Novosibirsk Cardboard and Paper Mill JSC (a subsidiary of Gofromaster LLC), one of Russia’s largest paper and cardboard producers, plans to make investments in the building of a second paper mill within the territory of the region, according to the company.

Implementation of these plans have been recently confirmed by general director of the plant Igor Didenko, according to which the new plant will be built within the next three years, while the volume of investments will reach RUB 2 billion (US$27 million).

According to him, in addition to the new facility, currently modernization of the already existing production units of the company is ongoing.

As Didenko has also added, part of the funds for the project will be provided by the Russian Industrial Development Fund, which has already approved a loan to the company in the amount of RUB 300 million at a rate of 1%.

In the future, another large-scale project in the field of waste paper processing is expected to be launched at the capacities of the enterprise. Currently, there are only 2 such productions in Russia.

According to the company, waste processing capacities of the enterprise are estimated at 36,000 tons per year, while those of corrugated cardboard of 18 million square meters per month. The annual production of paper and cardboard is 30,000 metric tons.
