Omya Announces North American Price Increase

Effective January 1, 2021, Omya Inc. and its affiliates will increase prices by 4%, or as customer contracts allow, on Calcium Carbonate products for the paper and paperboard markets in the US and Canada.
The increase is a consequence of rising costs of raw materials, mining costs, chemicals, labor, and transportation. Each year Omya minimizes these cost inflations through operational excellence, expense control, and supply chain efficiencies. During these uncertain times, Omya continues to commit to significant investment in production abilities to support growth throughout our customer base.
