Seaman Paper has announced announce Ken Winterhalter as new CEO, effective immediately.

While Ken may be the newest member of the Seaman Paper family, he is no stranger to the paper industry. He comes aboard with extensive global leadership experience in paper manufacturing, converting, and distributing operations. Most recently, Ken served as CEO and President of Twin Rivers Paper Company. Before that, he was CEO and President of National Envelope, and President of U.S. Operations for Unisource Worldwide. Throughout his impressive career, Ken has demonstrated his ability to build strong cooperative cultures by instilling a winning attitude, and it is with this approach that Ken will bolster our plans for sustained international growth. While current Seaman Paper owners Jamie Jones, Sr. and George Jones will be stepping back, they will continue to work with Ken as active mentors, advisors, and fellow Board Members.

"Seaman's growth over the last decade has necessitated that we strengthen our ability to manage and optimize both operational and financial performance," says Chairman of the Board of Directors George Jones. "Ken's demonstrated ability to build sustainable businesses while simultaneously delivering operational efficiencies and market growth will help to successfully position the Company for the future

According to Ken, the values of our family-owned organization are a major aspect of what makes this an ideal position for him. "The 'people' values and growth orientation in which they operate are entirely consistent with my core beliefs," he says. "I am thrilled to lead the organization through this exciting transition period."

We welcome Ken as a new member and leader of the Seaman Paper family. We're excited about what the future holds as we continue on our mission to provide high-quality, innovative, lightweight wrapping and packaging products while working to create a more sustainable future.
