Russia BSK Pulp Exports Plunge 35%

Russia’s September 2017 BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp exports plunged 35% y/y on Ilim Group’s recent temporary switch to more BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp output, according to data maintained by the Customs Committee of Russia.
The following table shows Russia’s pulp exports for key world areas for September and through the first nine months of 2017 versus 2916 data for the same periods.
