More than 275 people showed up at Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) global headquarters in Green Bay, Wis., USA, on August 3 for Impact 2016, featuring the unveiling of the converting leader’s newest innovation: Fusion C press. The event showcased a live curtain drop introducing PCMC’s brand new machine as well as interactive demonstrations so visitors could experience the Fusion C and other technology in the flexographic printing industry.

The Fusion C is loaded with fast make-ready and waste-saving features, and has a smaller footprint and fewer parts—saving space and cost for flexographic printers. Accessibility and ease of use, coupled with PCMC’s commitment to quality in design and manufacturing, make the Fusion C a unique offering in the market.

In the afternoon, customers received a live demonstration of a Fusion board press, followed by the opportunity to view other machines in various build cycles. Attendees had direct access to a select group of industry suppliers and PCMC team members from all parts of the company.

"It was an exceptional show," said Greg Collins, VP, engineering and graphics for C-P Flexible Packaging. "It was the most professional and well organized vendor demonstration I have been involved in. It was great to be back at PCMC and see all the exciting changes in their operations and product line."
