In the Spotlight: Yishai Amir - Long Live Paper

 

TAPPI member Yishai Amir is a big proponent of the paper industry and TAPPI. As the VP and GM for the Americas Graphics Solutions Business at Hewlett Packard (HP), Yishai said in his interview for the Spotlight that with the advent of digital printing, the importance of paper is seeing a rebirth. He believes it will help grow the industry.

 

 

"The world is becoming more and more digital, providing consumers and businesses with huge value in flexibility in on-demand availability and personalized messaging," said Yishai. "Digital presses use paper media for printing and provide many benefits over ‘traditional’ methods, thereby keeping paper products relevant, which is after all a core TAPPI objective."
